A Better World Through Music and the Arts
WHAT WE DO
- Artists Project Earth (APE) aims to help create a better world by bringing the power of music and the arts to 21st century challenges.
- We support effective projects and awareness raising initiatives to combat climate change, and raise funds for natural disaster relief.
Artists Project Earth in collaboration with international musicians such as Coldplay, U2, Bob Dylan, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal, Green Day, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, Rolling Stones and many others, has produced three fundraising albums to date:
- Rhythms Del Mundo: Cuba
- RDM: Classics
- RDM: Revival
- and soon to be released, RDM: Africa
Check-out our Music section for more information on these albums.
Profits from sales of the albums go to support projects all around the world that are helping to mitigate, adapt to and raise awareness of, climate change, such as:
- reforestation initiatives in Africa and Brazil
- wetland conservation in Uganda
- No Tar Sands campaigns
- a Special Award for the global Transition Towns movement
and in times of need, to help alleviate those suffering from natural disasters.
To date, APE has supported over 300 projects globally. Check out our Project Pages for more details.
You can help us to help them and others, by buying our albums for your friends and family or by making a direct donation via the 'Donate' page on our website. Your gift will be very much appreciated!
The Rhythms Del Mundo albums and various books published by APE associates are available from the APE Online Shop.
