CHANGING CLIMATE STORIES

Rethinking the imaginative landscape of climate change

With contributions from leading artists, writers, researchers, performers, activists and others, the aim of this gathering is to foster exchange and profound reflection on the scale of the challenges we face, and to support and deliver new creative campaigns, events and other works in response. Changing Climate Stories will bring together some of the most gifted and imaginative people in the arts, activism and science to share ‘work in progress’ and exchange ideas. The meeting will take place at the Toynbee Arts Centre in London on 20 June 2009 and a new website will help disseminate the results. It is hoped the meeting will be the start of a continuing dialogue about these issues, taking cultural responses to climate change to a new level.
