CLIMATE JUSTICE ACTION

“The most critical role for individuals is their ability to influence governments through political mobilisation.” – Green Alliance

This project aims to build a global movement against irreversible climate change, focusing on the 15th UN Climate Conference (COP15) in Copenhagen and beyond. ClimateAction calls for people everywhere to mobilise and take action against the root causes of climate change and the key agents responsible for it – ensuring that this message is made loud and clear at the Copenhagen conference and that it continues to reverberate around the world. The main focus is co-ordinating actions and demonstrations to take place in Copenhagen during the CO15, as well as linking with local actions worldwide. The specific actions people will take are many and varied, and ClimateAction are working to develop the infrastructure necessary for the mass mobilisation of these critical messages. It is hoped the mobilisation will kick-start a global mass movement capable of tackling the root causes of climate change.

"We would like to thank Artists Project Earth for your generous support. APE's contribution will help us provide the infrastructure to build a mass, grassroots mobilisation around the COP15 this December, and to help inspire a global movement, capable of tackling the root causes of climate change, beyond the conference."
