Thank you for buying the CD ‘Rhythms Del Mundo' – in doing so, you are helping to protect the planet and safeguard the future.
THE TRUSTEES AND ADVISORS of Artists' Project Earth are pleased to announce that twelve projects have been selected to receive funding from the sales of ‘Rhythms del Mundo – Cuba': the first major APE album release to raise awareness of the perils of climate change and to support those affected by natural disasters.
Each of these twelve projects was selected because of their unique contribution to the complex crises that we now face: some projects are proposing radical solutions to the root causes of climate change, other projects are taking on the role of educating the wider public on the issues, others still are looking at the effects of climate change on the biosphere and what can be done to reduce the impact of global warming. But all of them are working in their own ways towards creating a more sustainable future and to mitigating the effects of one hundred years of exponential fossil fuel combustion.
