APE SPECIAL AWARD 2009 - To celebrate the release of APE’s third album, ‘Rhythms Del Mundo – Classics’ we will award $100,000 to a single project judged most likely to make a significant impact in the struggle to prevent dangerous climate change. This one-off Special Award replaces our usual funding procedure. To apply for the Special Award click here.
This Award is intended to fully-fund a project, or to provide a substantial percentage of funding to ensure that a project is financially viable.
APE Trustees and Advisors are looking for projects that will make a practical and measurable difference to climate change.
The Award is open to any organisation in any country for projects related to the mitigation of climate change.
You may be working in the arts, education, policy, community organisation, energy and engineering, ‘Transition’ initiatives, adaptation and conservation or something quite different.
If your idea is brilliant we want to hear from you!
The winner of the APE SPECIAL AWARD will be announced at the Resurgence ‘Resilience and Climate Change Conference’ in London on October 3rd 2009. You will also be informed by email.
