ONE CLIMATE AT COP17

OneClimate presenting in Tianjin

Using web technology to allow civil society to participate in the UN COP17 conference in Durban, South Africa.

On Monday 28th November 2011 the United Nations Climate Talks will continue in Durban, South Africa, bringing together negotiators from 194 countries. The two week conference will aim to make progress towards a global agreement to tackle climate change. The event also provides an excellent opportunity for governments, business leaders and civil society organizations to demonstrate how they are responding to the climate crisis with positive solutions.

OneClimate’s live and interactive web coverage will give millions of people around the world the chance to follow the negotiations as they unfold hour by hour.  As well as a real-time blog featuring the latest analysis and multimedia, a daily webcast will enable viewers to interact with experts, policy makers and campaigners using cutting edge social media tools.

The coverage is curated and explained by OneClimate’s experienced team of journalists who will draw on the best videos, articles, podcasts, photos and commentary from across the web in order to unpick the major issues and the most interesting stories emerging from the Talks. You will be able to put your questions to the presenters and their guests live during the webcast.
