BICYCOLOGY
H. G. Wells is rumoured to have once said that whenever he saw a person riding a bicycle, he knew there was hope for humanity. We’re inclined to agree.
Many people will argue that the bicycle is the greatest invention ever – and with more and more people choosing to cycle to work and for pleasure, the age of the bicycle is upon us. Bicycology is a voluntary organisation that aims to celebrate the humble bicycle and to promote the virtues of cycling: healthy, practical and one of the more enjoyable solutions to climate change. Through their many exciting and fun initiatives, they hope to educate, inspire and encourage individuals and communities to bike-it – with workshops on repair and maintenance, safety and environmental issues at the top of their agenda.
