THE BIG TENT FESTIVAL

Scotland’s festival of planetary stewardship

Big Tent is Scotland’s leading environmental festival. The festival champions the work of those seeking solutions to climate change and campaigns against social and environmental injustice. The aim of the festival is to raise awareness of climate change and its associated issues and inspire visitors to make a difference as individuals and part of the wider community. Over the weekend around 10000 visitors will experience debates, exhibitions, children’s activities and workshops, food demonstrations, a local food village, poetry, alternative therapies and world and folk music including Shooglenifty, Attic Lights, Dub Colossus and Sorren Maclean. The festival is set in the historic village of Falkland, Fife and has a backdrop of Falkland Palace and the East Lomond Hill.
